She has netted over 100 goals for Bayern and scored 54 times in 82 appearances for Germany. Her arrival is viewed as a major signing for the WSL team. It was reported in late December that the German women's top flight was set to lose one of its leading strikers. Per reports, the formalities for the move are now finalised. Reliable Goalscoring to Boost the Forward Line The experienced striker's signing should represent a significant uplift to the team's attacking options. Schüller has been remarkably reliable in front of goal in Germany’s top flight. For seven straight seasons, including the most recent campaign, she achieved at least a double-figures tally of league goals. She claimed the Golden Boot in the 2021-22 season with a haul of 16 goals. Gathering Steam at Carrington Securing the German international comes at a time when United seem to be gathering momentum. Their recent on-pitch successes include securing a place in the European knockout phase playoffs as a seeded team and a victory in the League Cup quarter-finals. The contract extension for Japan playmaker Hinata Miyazawa, who has become popular figure since joining in 2023.
