An extensive extended cruise around the Australian Coast was terminated following the tragic passing of an senior female passenger who was abandoned by the ship on a distant tropical isle.

The elderly woman had been hiking on the remote island with shipmates from the Coral Adventurer, but separated from the party for a rest. The ship sailed away leaving her and returned after some time after the ship staff became aware the woman was not present.
